Brazilian Laser Hair Removal
Getting to the root of the problem
Brazilian laser hair removal is one of the most popular services we offer at LEA Aesthetics & MedSpa, but it’s also one that raises the most questions. This comprehensive service targets all of the hair that grows around the pubic area. It provides long-lasting results, saving you the need to shave or to suffer through painful waxing sessions.
But, you’d be right to have concerns when it comes to lasering such an intimate area. In this post, we’ll cover what it’s like to experience Brazilian laser hair removal at LEA Aesthetics & MedSpa, and answer some of the most common questions.
How Does Brazilian Laser Hair Removal Work?
First, let’s quickly explain laser hair removal itself. The laser machine emits a powerful light that penetrates through the skin to damage active hair follicles and stop their ability to regrow hair.
The light only targets the hair without impacting the surrounding skin, so it’s a safe and effective procedure. We use the latest technology to treat customers of all backgrounds, no matter their skin tone.

What Can I Expect at My First Appointment?
We’ll ask you to shave the day before your appointment and to come in wearing loose, comfortable clothes. On the day of, please avoid applying any lotions or other topical products to the treatment area. If necessary, we’ll offer you a wipe so you can freshen up before we start.
Once we’re ready to start, your technician or nurse will draw a grid over the area, to mark where they’ll be lasering and to make sure she doesn’t miss any spots. Then, the treatment will start! Working over the skin, the technician will zap each quadrant with a series of pulses. She’ll work methodically until the entire area has been treated.
Finally, we’ll give you a bit of gel to soothe the skin, and you’ll be ready to continue with your day. It’s a quick treatment that you can do during your lunchtime since there’s no downtime. Your skin might be a little red and irritated, which is normal, but the irritation should subside.
